Privacy Policy

MaP ("Match a Patch") is an initiative of Whole Wild World, a charity registered in Gibraltar (Registered Charity No. 329). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use m-a-p.earth. The short version: this website collects almost nothing.

What we collect

Browsing. This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers and does not profile you. Our hosting provider records standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to keep the site secure and reliable.

Donations. Donations are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own secure pages. We never see or store your card details. Stripe shares your name, email address and donation amount with Whole Wild World so we can send your receipt and account for your gift. Stripe's own privacy policy applies at stripe.com/privacy.

Email updates. If you ask to receive updates, we keep your email address solely to send you occasional news about MaP patches — a few times a year at most. We never sell or share it.

Contacting us. If you email info@m-a-p.earth we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to help you.

Your rights

Under applicable data-protection law (including the Gibraltar GDPR and Data Protection Act 2004), you may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent to updates at any time. Email info@m-a-p.earth and we will act promptly.

Third-party links

This site links to external websites (for example Stripe checkout and partner organisations). Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
